I will soon be giving a conference/workshop on leadership and resilience and how to better mobilize as a team, a subject which was recently discussed on myblog. I will speak about the role of individual and collective resilience in shared leadership.
Even if it is one of the most important aspects of group leadership, collective resilience is a trait that is often difficult to implement in teams and organizations. In this workshop, I will bring up current researches on collective resilience and how it can be applied in the work environment. Participants will have the opportunity to work on cases permitting them to reinforce their fortitude and creativity.
This fall, an agriculturalist group invites me to discuss entrepreneurial leadership. The main question being: how to reinforce individual confidence and the confidence of co-workers and collaborators?
This time, I have invited Simon-Pierre Bolduc, producer of the famous cheeses of Compton Station, to co-animate this discussion with me. Simon-Pierre is an excellent entrepreneurial model and I look forward to share this co-animation experience with him.
An upcoming workshop this September brings me to develop the themes of discourse and leadership. This workshop is set in a context where participants will be put into teams and exposed to different physical terrains.
For one whole day, the teams will be initiated to the model of leadership and discourse I have developed. They will also be introduced to the use of discourse for mobilization in various organizational situations.
I will give a conference discussing some approaches to reinforce the ability to influence, have an impact on the administrative board and improve relations within the organization.
At McGill University on november the 9th, I participated on a panel on Leadership and Women. The questions to be debated: Is there a gender related style of leadership? if so, what are the differences and similarities? If not, why do we still find few women in senior executives positions?
I will be giving a conference in London at the end of November. I am eager to get some feedback on this paradigm.
I am now in the process of writing a book specially intended for teenagers and young adults.
The launching of my third book on Shared Leadership will take place on Monday, September 20th at HEC-Montreal. More examples of leaders and teams have been added to this new edition. Moreover, the reader will also find a unique maturity model of dialogue that illustrates clearly different phases of dialogue in relation with different types of leadership. Finally, different forms of conformisms are explained so readers can realize what needs to be done in order to unleash a potential of leadership.
Welcome to my new website. You will find, amongst other things, what is shared leadership and what are the conditions required to achieve it. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have comments or questions. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
